WILDCAT/STREET RULES
Frame: American made passenger production six (6) or eight (8) cylinder cars. No all wheel drive cars. All chassis must maintain stock wheelbase for frame utilized. No structural modification. Minimum wheelbase is one hundred (100) inches. Wheelbase measurements must be within one (1) inch tolerance from left to right side of car. Cars are required to utilize a full cage structure mounted safely to chassis that shall consist of four (4) vertical upright bars connected at the top on all sides. An "X" member must support the rear vertical uprights. Cage structure may extend to directly forward of radiator location. Rear cage structure may extend to the farthest rear point of chassis frame structure. Roll cage cannot be set back any closer than 20 inches from center of rear end. A bar at dash height across the front uprights is required. A minimum of four (4) horizontal bars are required on the left side door area and a minimum of three (3) horizontal bars are required on the right side. Top hoop and uprights must closely conform to the roof line and windshield post with a maximum of a two (2) inch space between the body and cage components. Vehicle must have driver door plate between door bars and body on driver side only. Sixteen (16) gauge steel may be welded in between door bars and door bar connectors on driver side only. No tubing may be added forward of the radiator support. All cars must have tow hooks on front and rear.
Safety: Racing Window nets required. Racing seats with Left and Right head rests required. Five point quick release harness system in good condition mounted with three eighths (3/8) inch bolts minimum Grade 8 washers and locking nuts. These must be attached at two (2) separate points on the frame, equal distance from the seat back and not less than twelve (12) inches apart. Sternum belts are highly recommended.
Bodies Stock bodies after-market panels allowed per stock specifications. Must be stock steel and must have a complete roof, floorboards, firewalls, and rocker panels. Doors may be replaced with .22 gauge steel, may run aftermarket bumper covers for body being run. No Late Model ABC, Dirt, Downforce, Wedge ETC. Noses or Body Panels. Hoods may be replaced with fiberglass or aluminum. May remove inner body panels. "A" posts must remain complete and be attached to roof in stock location. No other body alterations allowed. Any body deemed excessively altered beyond specs for performance advantage, may not be allowed to run or may be subject to weight penalty.
Spoiler 5" x 60" no side boxing cannot extend beyond rear of bumper cover. Max 43" from ground to top of spoiler.
Weight: Must weigh a minimum of 3,000 lbs. with driver in the car. Maximum Left side weight is 54% (54/46)
Suspension:
Springs: All springs must be a stock appearing spring. Front springs must have the same wire size, height and diameter side to side. Rear coil springs must have same wire size, height and diameter side to side. Minimum coil spring outside diameter is five (5) inches. Spring boosters are permitted. Solid spring spacers are permitted. No springs may go through top of frame. No holes may be cut in frame to gain access. Jacking bolts are permitted in the rear but must be utilized in a manner that the spring remains in stock location.
Shock/Strut: Original equipment gas shocks/struts only. Shocks/struts must be in original position. No adjustable shock/struts permitted no painting or removing numbers from the shocks/struts. No racing or performance shocks allowed – ie: Bilstein, PRO, AFCO, etc. Upper strut mount must be OE type. No caster/camber plates, not solid bearing mounts.
Front Suspension Components: All front suspension components must be stock for make and model used. Left A frames to be used on left side only and right A frames to be used on right side only. Neoprene control arm bushings that are stock exact replacement fit are permitted. Ball joints must remain O.E.M. factory replacement only, but are not restricted to year, make and model matching. Ball joints must be in stock location. No low friction or screw in ball joints allowed.
Front and rear adjustable cups allowed. Upper control arms on rear end may be re-drilled. Lower rear control arm mounts may be moved up or down, must remain stock. No reinforcement of brackets or suspension arms. All suspension parts must be stock for year, make, and model. Equal length Tubular Upper A arms allowed. Must retain stock mounts in stock location. Rear leaf spring cars may have adjustable shackles no longer than 6", lowering blocks allowed. Must have a minimum of 4 leafs. Leaf Springs MUST be steel. Panhard bar and trailing arms allowed on full frame metric cars. Three (3) link NON-ADJUSTABLE rear suspension with stock ends allowed on Metric Cars. No bump stops or suspension limiting devices allowed.
Strut Towers: The front third of the strut tower may be removed to gain access to the tie rod ends. The aft two thirds of the tower must remain unaltered. Towers may be reinforced but not moved. The strut mounting plate must not be altered or moved.
Sway Bar: Must be mounted with all rubbers and washer in stock location on one side only, but may be adjusted on other end. 1-3/8" Max diameter
Steering: Must be stock steering system for make of car. Steering Quickeners are ok
Ride Height: Minimum height of any part of the body or frame for a Strut Camaro must be 5". All others cars 5" from the ground at the lowest point with driver in the car.
Wheels: May use aftermarket steel wheels. Track width no more than 64.5". Must achieve track width with offset wheels or 1 spacer per wheel allowed, NOT suspension parts! Wheel width seven (7) inches by 15" wheels, OR, 8 inch wheels allowed with 50 pound penalty.

Rearend: Locked rear ends allowed. 9" Ford Rear End allowed. NO RACING BRACKETS ALLOWED. Rear gear ratio must be between 3.08 to 3.73.
No cambered rear ends.
Engine: 602 crate engines allowed with stock specs. GM max engine size 350 plus Ford max 351w Chrysler 360, Engine block cylinder heads must be cast iron and O.E.M. stock replacement. Crank shaft must be cast or forged. No modifications or lightening. Two valve relief pistons allowed. Flat top pistons only. Stock steel connecting rods aftermarket stock replacement. Racing oil pan allowed. Cam shaft must be hydraulic flat tappet only. Stock lifter bore. Max. lift 450 at the valve. Stock type rockers. Cylinder heads must be O.E.M. castings straight plug. World product head #4361 will be allowed. Vortex heads allowed. Max valve size 1.94 intake 1.6 exhaust. Max compression 10.2:1.
Engine Location: Engine must remain in stock location. Solid, or fabricated motor mounts accepted as long as motor is in stock location
Carburetors: Stock Holly 4412 or Rochester 2 barrel. No VDL's. Must pass tech tools. Intake must be stock cast iron 2 barrel or 2101 or 2116 aluminum only. Must use MR gasket #1929 or #1937 carb adaptor.
Transmission: Stock cast iron 3 speed. All gears must be working. Stock steel fly wheel and stock clutch. Automatic transmissions allowed. NO 2 speed power glides. Stock torque converters only.
Flywheel: Stock steel flywheel required. No alterations permitted. Minimum weight of sixteen (16) pounds.
Clutch: Minimum 10.4 inch O.E.M clutch assembly only.
Exhaust: 1-5/8" maximum underslung headers allowed. Functional mufflers are REQUIRED ie: Glasspacked.
Fuel Cells: May be mounted through trunk floor and securely fastened to the car. Fuel Cell minimum ride height 12" from the ground. No adjustable or sliding spacers.
